Bloomington BirdFest 2021

  • Switchyard Park 1600 South Rogers Street Bloomington, IN, 47403 United States (map)

Please join Sassafras Audubon and the City of Bloomington for our free annual Bloomington BirdFest—a full day of food, fun, kids activities, and presentations by scientists, conservationists, and photographers to celebrate our local birds and nature. There is something for everyone who loves birds! IndiGo Birding tour guide David Rupp will be leading bird walks throughout the day (binoculars provided). Local organizations will be tabling to showcase their work for the birds, including places to go and activities to pursue. Bloomington’s wildlife rehabilitation center WildCare will also be there with some of their ambassador birds. Four lucky raffle winners will receive bird and nature themed gifts and generous gift certificates from local sponsors. Here is a partial list of activities. We hope to see you there!
