On Monday, October 14, Sassafras Audubon Society is offering a free Owl Prowl/Night Hike at Beanblossom Bottoms Nature Preserve in northwest Monroe County. Guide David Rupp of IndiGo Birding Nature Tours will lead the group on a hike around the boardwalk on this Sycamore Land Trust property. Meet either at Kroger parking lot on Kinser Pike at 6:30 p.m. or at the preserve at 6:45 p.m. Appropriate for ages 6 and older. Please bring a flashlight.
